MELBOURNE, Aug 23 AAP - Conditions on Victoria's ski fields today:

FALLS CREEK - Lifts: 15/15. Very good skiing and boarding on an excellent cover of
softening snow. Overnight temp: 3.0 deg. Road: Open and clear. Snow depth: 193cm.

MT HOTHAM - Lifts: 12/13. Very good skiing and boarding on an excellent cover of soft
snow. Overnight temp: 2.4 deg. Road: Open and clear. Snow depth: 204cm.

MT BULLER - Lifts: 25/25. Very good skiing and boarding on an excellent cover of snow,
softening during the day. Overnight temp: 4 deg. Road: Open and clear. Snow depth: 160cm.

LAKE MOUNTAIN - Very good cross country skiing on a very good cover of soft snow on
the upper trails. Overnight temp: 7.3 deg. Road: Open and clear. Snow depth: 35cm.

MT BAW BAW - Lifts: 7/7. Good skiing and boarding on a very good cover of softening
snow. Overnight temp: 5.8 deg. Road: Open and clear. Snow depth: 50cm.

MT BUFFALO - Lifts: 3/4. Very good to excellent skiing and boarding on a very good
to excellent cover of firm, packed snow, softening during the day. Overnight temp: 5.6
deg. Road: Open and clear. Snow depth: 74cm.

DINNER PLAIN - Lifts: 1/1. Very good downhill skiing on an excellent cover of firm
snow, softening later. Road: Open and clear, with icy patches. Snow depth: 93cm.

MT STIRLING - Very good cross country skiing on a very good to excellent cover of softening
snow. Road: Open and clear. Snow depth: 89cm.

MT ST GWINEAR - Good to very good cross country skiing on a good to very good cover
of softening snow. Snow depth: 50cm. Road: Open and clear.

MT DONNA BUANG - No snow.
