Qld: New witness comes forward in missing teen case

A witness has told police missing Queensland teenager DANIEL MORCOMBE was standing
with a man by a car before he disappeared last Sunday.

Police fear the 13-year-old from Palmwoods, in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, may have
been abducted.

A witness has now come forward saying they saw a blue, old-model, four-door sedan parked
near DANIEL as he waited for a bus on Nambour Connection Road just before he disappeared.

The witness says DANIEL and a man were standing next to the car, which had its rear door open.

Police have appealed to any other witnesses who may have seen the car to come forward.
