--Yoox Group 2010 net profit surges to EUR9m

9 March 2011 - Italian online fashion retailer Yoox Group SpA (BIT:YOOX) posted a net profit of EUR9.1m (USD12.6m) for 2010, a 122.5% surge on the year, the company said on Wednesday.
Net revenues rose 40.8% to EUR214.3m. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased 25% to EUR18.8m.

Operating profit soared 69.8% to EUR15m.

Yoox's net financial position stood at EUR22.8m as at 31 December 2010, compared with a net cash of EUR34m at end-2009.
